Lila Kora (“we”, “us”) is a Dubai-based brand that turns original artwork into silk scarves, wearable pieces and creative experiences. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use lilakora.co, shop with us, book a workshop or event, or get in touch, and how we look after it.

Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect:

• Contact details: your name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number when you enquire, book or write to us.
• Order and delivery details: billing and delivery address, items ordered and order history.
• Booking details: the workshop or event you choose, the number of guests, dates and any notes you share with us.
• Your creative material: artwork, photos or messages you send us so we can make a custom scarf or personalised piece.
• Payment information: payments are handled by our payment providers. We do not see or store your full card number.
• Technical data: your device, browser, IP address and the pages you visit, collected through cookies and similar tools.
• Photos and video: images from our workshops and events, and testimonials, only where you have agreed to them.

We use your information to:

• Process and deliver your orders and gift cards.
• Confirm and manage workshop and event bookings.
• Answer your messages and give you support.
• Create custom scarves and personalised pieces from the material you send.
• Improve our website, products and experiences.
• Send news, offers and workshop dates, only if you have asked to hear from us. You can opt out at any time.
• Meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run the business, and only what they need to do their job:

• Payment providers that process your payment securely.
• Delivery and courier companies that deliver your order.
• Website, hosting, email and booking tools we use to operate the site.
• Messaging and social platforms such as WhatsApp and Instagram, when you contact us through them.
• Professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.

Some of these providers are based outside the UAE. Where your information is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected.

Our website uses cookies to keep the site working, remember your basket and understand how people use it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may then not work as expected.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No online service can be completely secure, but we take care to limit access to the people who need it.

In line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, you may ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy.
• Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
• Delete your information, where we no longer need it or the law allows.
• Stop or limit how we use it, or withdraw consent you have given us.

Our website and products are not aimed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
